Canva Needs To Know about the Free Account

  1. The Brand feature is not available on the free account. This feature allow you to add your own brand aesthetics to be use or apply in your designs.
  2. You only can create 2 main folders, however you can create subfolders to organize your work. My suggestion is to use your  folders as follow:
    1.  Templates: to save and keep your original material unteachable. Inside this folder you can create subfolders to group your Buy Templates, Own Designed, Others.
    2. Projects: to save and keep you working projects. Inside you can create subfolders like: Done, InProgress, ProjectName (for specific projects like school, covers, posters, etc.
  3. Canva for Team is not available on the free account. This feature allow you to work in simultaneous collaboration with others. However you can invite others.
  4. Your cloud storage is limited to 5GB. This space will be use by your templates, pictures, and more.
  5. You will have access to 250K free templates. However there are some of them that will show a crown icon, which means are only available for pro accounts.
  6. Picture with the crown icon are also for pro account only, however you can buy the picture if you need it or replace the picture with another one free. You can also add Free Royalty Apps to expand your picture choice or upload your owns.
